Weekend Update!

All in all, a great weekend. The Tigers game was alot of fun, great weather and they won! They had some killer fireworks after the game. I'll post pics tomorrow!

Last Detroit Tigers Game

So tomorrow Scott, his brother and me are going to the Tigers Game. I'm hoping the rain holds out until later in the night. It's so fun going there but so sad that summer has ended. Oh well, it looks to be a fun time and I'm sure I'll have pics to post come Monday.

I'm Bored

I'm SUPER bored this week at work. It seems the phones aren't ringing much and I have not much to do. I'm just bored. It sucks and I'm getting tired and unmotivated. Bah...it's only 11:30am!

Life Update!

As most of you know, I hate driving to work. It's alot of money, alot of gas and I've become poor cause I have to put so much gas in my car just to work. Well, I'm sick of it and I've done something about it!!...or trying.

Last night I had an interview that went really well. It's for a financial place downtown Grand Rapids. It seems promising, but you never know. I also received a phone call from a place REALLY close to my apartment. I'm going to call her on my lunch today to set up an interview. The only thing I'm not sure about for the downtown job is it's business dress. That means I need to get a whole new wardrobe to work there and right now I have $0. I'd basically have to open up a credit card and buy everything on that. So, we'll see what this other job has to offer.

As for the new cat situation....the cats are doing ok. They still aren't getting along. Scott and I have heard alot of growling and hissing lately. Everyday it seems the cats get closer to eachother and are doing a bit better feeling eachother out. Although, Roy pissed on my shirt yesterday in front of me and that made me really made. I think they are playing the territory game or something. I can't wait till they become buddies...hopefully sooner than later!

Next week is the System of a Down concert and I also took off work on Sept 29 & 30 if anyone wants to do something. I figure I better use up a few vacations days cause I don't know if they'll pay me for them if I quit.

This is the new kitty. He doesn't have a final name yet, still deciding. So for now we call him kitty.

I'm getting another cat!!

Today I go pick up Felix. He is at the Vet and has been waiting for a nice home for a long time. He's about 3 yrs old, Spayed and Declawed and looks just like Maddie's brother, if she had a brother. It could be her brother for all I know, LOL. Anyway, I pick him up after work and I'm so excited! Now Maddie cat will have a friend to play with!! I'll post pics of him tomorrow!!

Double JJ Ranch

Saturday was a RIOT! I went with friends to this ranch on Saturday. We did horseback riding, drank drinky drinks and ate alot of food! The hoseback riding was slow, we just walked. Although my horse named Monster was into eating everything in sight, kind of a pain. It was a free outing for a company picnic of our friend. We got 8 free drink tickets and of course we used them all. Check out the ranch! Double JJ Ranch

Weekend!

Well Jen & Klaus have decided to make a new life in Georgia. They have found a place to stay. A nice woman has decided to let them stay with her until they can find a job and apartment. I was a little sad to know they wouldn't be coming, yet happy they have a place to live.

The weekend was alot of fun though. It was so nice to sleep in! Yesterday I didn't get outta my pj's until 2pm!! Talk about a relaxing weekend!!

News!

Good news and bad news, bad news first!

My car is going to the body shop. Last night Scott and I went to the Byron Center football game and while my car was parked, it got hurt. A big gate swung into my passenger side window breaking it and denting my car door inside and out and detatching the mirror. I guess someone hit the gate with their car, the bolted and the gate just swung with great force into my car and window. What a mess. They police were there and took a report and luckily I have awesome insurance so I don't have to pay anything. Also, luckily my parents are gone so I can use my Mom's car. What a mess, what a mess.

Good News! Jen & Klaus and the kids are coming on Sat or Sun to stay with my parents. I'm so excited to see them! So this weekend I will be spending alot of my time with them and also cleaning my Mom's house, she's a clean freak, ha ha!

Hurricane...update

Today I received an email from Klaus and Jen. They have decided to go back to Germany for a few weeks until things settle down in New Orleans. They leave next Friday for Germany out of Chicago. So, they will be driving to Grand Rapids on Saturday to stay at my parents until Friday. I'm so excited that I get to see them! It's too bad it has to be in these circumstances, but at least they have a place to go.

Please still keep them in your prayers as they don't know the status of their house yet. Her parents are back at their house and it's somewhat damaged, but repairable. Although, they have no water, electricity or way of communication.
